    Ohio State vs LSU Tonight!

It's been awhile since I've posted anywhere as I've been extremely busy. However, I'm going to try to ramp up my posts this year. Be sure to catch the Buckeyes tonight as they face the Tigers in New Orleans.

    Dolphins Lose, Getting Better

I must say that although the Miami Dolphins lost to the New England Patriots, they definately looked much better. The CBs and OL looked like they should have all along. The Patriots didn't get to Harrington who seemed to be throwing the ball pretty good and the defense held New England to 116 yards in 3 quarters of play. Hopefully they will turn things around very quickly. However, they will need to go at least 8-3 to equal or better their record of last year.

    Ohio State Wins; Auburn Loses

The Ohio State Buckeyes won today and helped to solidify their #1 ranking. On the other hand, #2 Auburn has lost. Here is my college Top 5:

    1) Ohio State
    2) West Virginia
    3) USC
    4) Michigan
    5) Florida

    Go Buckeyes!

Saints Return To Superdome With A Win

The New Orleans Saints played on adrenaline last night beating the Atlanta Falcons 23-3. The Saints definately looked good and if they can play like that the rest of the season (especially on special teams and defense), they should be a true contender in the NFC. [34]

    Madden Jinx Continues

Nothing more to say about it then the jinx continues. Shaun Alexander is the latest victim. Check out the article on ESPN here: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2602571

Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Dolphins Weekend Review

Like always, Ohio State had their hands full with one of their Big Ten rivals, Penn State. The game was very even until the last 3 minutes of the game. Next up for the Buckeyes is Iowa on Saturday night.

The Miami Dolphins finally got their first win of the season beating Tennessee 13-10. The offensive line must find a way to start giving Culpepper some time in the pocket. Their getting beat too often. Next up for the Dolphins is Houston on Sunday.

    Dolphins and Buckeyes Update

Apparently, the Miami Dolphins still suck. I can't seem to figure out why they can't click. It's not like they have a bad team or anything. Right now, I'd say that Cincinnati looks the most convincing in the AFC. One of my old high school friends, Ethan Kilmer, plays on the team as well which is pretty cool. Next up for the Dolphins is Tennessee at 1:00 this Sunday.

As for the Ohio State Buckeyes, as long as they don't hit any bump in the road, they might be playing another #2 come the end of the season in the Michigan team which looks really good. Next up for the Buckeyes is Penn State at 3:30 this Saturday.

    Ohio State Thumps Texas

Go Buckeyes! The Ohio State Buckeyes knocked off Texas the other night in a rematch from last year. Sure, you can say all you want about Vince Young not being there. However, neither was Santonio Holmes or 9 starters from last year that moved on. Next up, Cincinnati before their Big Ten showdown with Penn State on Sept 23rd.

Penn State vs Notre Dame Analysis

Penn State played a very sloppy game against Notre Dame and really proved their too young to have a really solid season this year. Notre Dame, on the other hand, will now have Michigan next week. It should be one tough game.

Can't wait for the Ohio State vs Texas game in 45 minutes!

    Dolphins vs Steelers Post-Game Analysis

    The Dolphins:

    • Daunte was too nervous and tried to do too much in the end. He rushed too many throws. He's either not ready to be back (nervous about his knee) or not familiar enough with the offense.
    • Chris Chambers and Randy McMichael didn't help Daunte; Wes Welker did.
    • Offensive line and secondary (besides Wil Allen and Hill) need an upgrade.
    • The Dolphins will be better later in the season, but will probably be a 10-6 team. They'll make the playoffs as a wild card or nearly miss it. I'd hate to be a Dophin player in the next 11 days. Ouch. :)
    • Tillman and Goodman need to learn how to tackle.
    • Ronnie Brown needs to become a better pass blocker. We definately need to work in another back to wear down the defense in the third and fourth quarters.

    The Steelers:

    • Defense is still strong
    • Overall offense still has its weaknesses.
    • The score would have been the same with Batch or Ben in. They are both the same style quarterback.
    • Offensive line breaks down late in the game.
    • Willie Parker is fast, but they still need someone bigger for the short yards.
    • The Steelers will be an 11-5 or 12-4 team and make the playoffs.

At this point, I'd guess that Cinci will win the AFC (without seeing all starters play).

    Big Ben out against Dolphins

This should make Thursday nights game even easier for the Dolphins. Big Ben is out for at least this week and the Dolphins will get Charlie Batch. Go Dolphins!

Ohio State and Penn State win

The Ohio State Buckeyes won their home opener against Northern Illinois. I must say that #1 from NIU is very good. Ohio State now has Texas on Saturday night. If you watch college football, you can't miss that game. Penn State also won their home opener against Akron. PSU will face Ohio State in a couple weeks.
