On Saturday night, my wife and I went to the Jerry Seinfeld show at the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. The Kirby Center was recently remodeled with the exception of some wallpaper in the balcony falling off the walls. The first act was pretty good. He did a bit about pregnancy which made my wife chuckle. However, nothing topped Seinfeld. He had some really good bits on creamation, cell phones, work bathrooms, the elderly, and medicine commercials. On a scale of 1 to 5, i'd give it a 6. The only thing is that based on some other comedians that come to the area, I thought the ticket prices were a bit high. 90% of the balcony tickets were $62.50.

On Friday night we went to see The Gridiron Gang at the 7:50pm showing at Cinemark in Moosic. We thought there was going to be some issues in the beginning when a group of 30 kids (10 to 12 years old) began jumping over seats and screaming. Within ten minutes, Cinemark personnel where up there to make 2 of them move and to scatter the rest. The movie itself was pretty good. It took a bit to get started. The story was good and the ending was ok. I'd recommend it and on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it a 4.
